SURAT PEKELILING KETUA PENGARAH KESIHATAN BIL 9 TAHUN 2016 LANGKAH PEMATUHAN TERHADAP KONVENSYEN MINAMTA: PENGGUNAAN PERALATAN PERUBATAN TIDAK MENGANDUNGI MERKURI DI FASILITI KESIHATAN

This is to announce that the Malaysia has signed the MINAMATA Convention on mercury on September 2014 and must comply with the obligation to this convention. Among the obligation that must be comply is the prohibition of manufacturing, importation and exportation of product containing mercury as per in Annex A, Part 1 such as thermometer and sphygmomanometer. Further information on the MINAMATA Convention on mercury can be obtained through the website http://www.mercuryconvention.org/.
